Day 13 with Ella. Today was our last day in China. We shopped and rested up for our long trip home. Most of the friends we have made have alreay left and it was kind of lonesome. We packed this evening and it was hard to get everything back where it came from. We emptied the food suitcase a long time ago but it has been replace with souvenirs so we have less room than what we started with but we did it. Jenn, I really could have used your help again. Kind of sad and happy at the same time. Very happy to be going home. I can't wait to see everyone and for you all to see Ella but this was really a trip I will never forget and I hate for it to be over.

Well, we are off early tomorrow for many hours and many miles so I must go to bed early. Will call you when we are able.

Love to all,
Priscella

Priss,
It sounds like the same thing Jenn was telling you before your trip...You reached one point where you were sooo homesick that it felt miserable, then...when it is finally time to go, there's that sadness that you are leaving a magical place. How strange yet wonderful it must be to travel so far from home, and for such a long trip, too, I can't imagine it!! But, remember, too, what Jenn said (she really does have such wisdom!)... try hard NOT to think about it as your ONLY time there, that you'll go back one day. It won't ever be the SAME trip, so yes, there is that sadness, BUT, it will be a NEW trip, one with new adventures and joys to share. The boys will never forget this adventure, how blessed you have been to be able to give them this, it makes up for never having taken a vacation before. And, to bring home such a little angel, well, it makes coming home a joy, I know. There is so much love waiting for all of you here. We've all been planning your brunch, what we want to cook and bring cause we know ya'll are hungry for REAL American food!! LOL!!!
Well, gonna run for now. Love you all, be safe on your trip home...pass out that Benedryl and take some for yourself, and get some rest. I'll be praying you safely home! Love, Marlene

UNTIL FOREVER

This morning in China a mother cries
She'll never forget her daughter's eyes
Her heart is broken and filled with pain
Her tears run down like the falling rain.
She has no choice but to leave her there
The cost of keeping is too much to bear.
She hopes her daughter will one day know
True love can be found in letting her go.

This morning in China a baby cries
Hungry and scared as tears fill her eyes
Her mother has left her in this public place
Another lost daughter of the Chinese race.
Someone passing has heard her soft moan
She is soon taken to a foster home.
It's here she'll reside in the care of another
Until she's adopted by a brand new mother.

That very same day in the U.S.A.
A woman cries as she starts to pray
Her heart is heavy but filled with much love
She prays for a daughter she thinks the world of
"Dear Jesus, I ask that your arms would be
Wrapped tightly around the one picked for me
Guard her in China until I make my way
and then in my arms she'll forever stay."

Romans 8:15

Ye have received the Sprit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
